My Colombian Bride |
Recently divorced, I met a charming Colombian woman through my job in Atlanta. After telling her I would like to meet a Colombian woman for dating, she suggested I try the internet. She said that she had some friends that had met nice American men this way. About the same time, a Colombian woman had submitted a couple of photos along with her biographical information to Sincere Latin Brides, a well respected international introduction and tour agency. She had just ended a relashionship also and was interested in meeting new friends. I decided I would give the internet a try, so I started to search for sites that offer photos and profiles of foreign women looking for single men to correspond with. I landed on a site that offered the services I was looking for and after searching through hundreds of profiles, I decided to write 5 or 6 women. Two were from Russia and the others were Colombian women. Caribean coast. Because of my excitement over the prospect of meeting one of these beautiful women, I decided that I wanted to expedite this process, so I used the Express Mail service that the agency offered. All I had to do was write a letter to each woman and send via e-mail to the agency, along with the address of the woman I wanted to receive it. The agency would translate the letter into the ladies' native language and then mail from an office in her country. If the lady had e-mail access, the letter was sent via e-mail. Much to my surprise, I started receving replies within four or five days. I have since learned that it is difficult to get a letter delivered in Colombia that is mailed from within the US, so it turned out that the service was well worth the money. The Replies |
