Write to several women - The more women you write to, the better your chances of finding your dream lady. Initially, I wrote to six or eight women that I was intersted in learning more about. I think I received replies from all except one. I wrote a second letter to all of the women that replied, but I had already narrowed the field in my mind. Besides Claudia, there was a Russian lady that I wrote and I was interested in learning more about her. Send Flowers or Gifts - The single most important thing I did to win Claudia's heart in the beginning was to send an arrangement of roses. She was so surprised that I was able to find her house in the small town that she lives in. Of course, I just ordered the flowers on the internet and the agency finds a local shop to deliver them

I sent flowers to Claudia on several occasions, and I was surprised at how inexpensive they are in Colombia. You can send an arrangement of a dozen roses for about $40 US or seasonal flowers for even less. It was well woth the investment. In fact, I bring her flowers here at home at least once a week and she loves me for it.

Sometimes the little things can make a big difference !

Learn a few words and phrases of her language - There is absolutely no dought that you will have an easier time getting to know each other if she speaks at least some English. I wrote a few times to the Russian lady and was able to communicate fairly well, but when I called her the first time, I saw what a problem it would be getting to know someone with the handicap of not speaking the language. The translation service that the agency offers is great for breaking the ice, but unless your lady is studying English or you her language, it's going to be tough in the beginning.

Claudia absolutely loved it when I learned a few of the romantic terms of her language. For example, "mi amor" for My Love, "mi cielo" for My Blue Sky, "mi vida" for Love of My Life, "mi reina" for My Queen, "mi corazon" for My Sweetheart, "presiosa" for Precious and "besos e abrazos" for Hugs & Kisses. In fact, I got alot of use, and still do, from the Spanish language guide that I bought.

Send Nice Photos - Looks are not everything but your chosen lady will want to see what you look like. After all, you have seen at least on photo of hers from the web site. Choese a photo the represents you well. For example, if you enjoy the outdoors, send a photo of you hiking or camping in the woods. If you enjoy scuba diving, send a photo of you on a boat in your diving gear. Choose two or three of your best photos initially, and as you receive replies, you can send additional pictures. Digital cameras now make it very easy to take and send good photos by e-mail.

Some other Good Tips -
Keep good records- If you write to several ladies, keep copies of the letters. In my case, I used the same letter initially, and just changed the name. Don't make the same mistake I did on one letter and leave the wrong lady's name on a letter you sent to a different woman. That took some explaining.
Do not send money - There are honest and there are dishonest people in the world. Most of the women will not ask you to send money, but there are a few that will. In my case, I did send a little money to Claudia, but only after we had been communicating for several weeks.. And I was the one who initaited it by offering to send a little money so she could you the internet cafe more frequequently to write me.
Don't place too much emphasis on the woman's photos - Of course you are looking for an attractive woman, but one photo does not tell the whole story. In my case, Claudia's photo on the internet was very nice, but when I met her in person, her photos didn't do her justice. She is much prettier in person than I had expected. Wow!
Most importantly - Be patient. The first or second or maybe even your third choice to write too may not be that special lady for you. There are many sincere women out there that want to meet a man like you. Keep trying until you find the perfect lady for you.
